Safe and Trusted Canada ( The Site) provides the option for The Advanced Subscription for $399.00 plus GST for a yearly subscription.  Yearly subscriptions are automatically billed 60 days before the subscription expiration date.  See the application. Credibility Counts

Monthly subscriptions paid yearly are 35.25 plus GST.  Monthly subscriptions must be cancelled with 60 days' notice.  If paid yearly, not including tax, the daily investment is $1.09.

There is a possibility of two discounts. There is a discount for businesses that advertise in areas of Canada under 1.5 million people.   There is a discount for businesses that embed the Safe and Trusted Link to their website.  Your Advanced subscription may be reduced to $299.00 plus GST for a yearly subscription. If paid yearly, not including tax, the daily investment is $0.81. The monthly subscription may be reduced to $26.91 plus GST.

Please note that the monthly payments add a transaction cost of $24.00 over one year as opposed to making one yearly payment. Our quoted monthly payments include the $2.00 per month transaction cost.

This account type allows the account holder to place up to 40 subcategories into their profile.  The account holder has the ability to place that profile in up to 10 trade areas adjacent to the business location.  In addition, the business can add up to 5 PDF documents and 10 images and embed up to 5 YouTube videos in its business profile.

Payments can be made by credit card, cheque, or electronic transfer. There are no refunds for paid accounts as The Site gives the Basic Account at no charge for evaluation purposes of our Site Content Management System.

When consumers search for a business or contractor, they rely on the credentials listed to make their decision. It is crucial that businesses and contractors guarantee the accuracy of their credentials.

Consumers can easily search for a business based on their credentials, such as registration, licensing, and years in business. Similarly, contractor credentials, like worker's compensation, liability, and written contracts, provide consumers with the necessary information to make an informed decision.

It is essential that businesses and contractors understand that their credentials can be viewed and searched by consumers. The site will not score or validate credentials; consumers make their own decisions. The credential score for hotels and restaurants is the composite review done by Safe and Trusted Canada. All the review sites form the composite review, and that average is the credentials score for that business.   The composite review may be available to the consumer if it is completed.  Hotels and Restaurants will retain their scores because this is an average of all review sites as Information Only profiles.

In all cases, consumers will evaluate and make their own decisions.

Display of the business occurs above Information Only Profiles, Basic Subscriptions, Plus Subscriptions and Standard Subscriptions,  and any others who may have signed up for the Advanced Subscription after your business in your region or categories.  The Advanced Subscription is listed according to our Business Order of Display.

Bypass your competition.  Simply link your profile on Safe and Trusted Canada, and your linking bypasses the competition.  See the video.

This means that the user does not have to search you out as a business on the Safe and Trusted site, which could also mean that your customers won't see your competition.    This advantage could be huge for you as a business owner in many ways.

Use your profile to augment your website.  You can add material to your profile more easily than on your website; more importantly, the user doesn't see your competition in the process.  Imagine all the material on your Safe and Trusted Canada profile that is not on your website.

You can also link to all your local affiliations and any business category affiliations that show why customers should pick you.  Affiliations add to the overall credibility of a business.  Go to the content management area in the Basic area, and list each of them under affiliations.  Place the affiliation's name, then add the link to your listing with that affiliation.   All affiliations automatically shorten to a link if you have an Advanced subscription.   The consumer can place this link into their browser and see content in their browser.   This also works for your website and links back to certain parts of your website.  Only the Professional subscription allows direct links without using a browser.    Using Links in Your Business Presentation.

In addition to the Business credentials, if you are a contractor, The Site allows the contractor to indicate that they have liability insurance, worker's compensation, and warranties in writing.    We are looking for businesses that can clearly articulate their contractor credentials, increasing their overall credibility score with consumers.

What causes an alert? As with all subscriptions, the company must be responsible and accountable.  Business owners with subscriptions must ensure the accuracy of credentials in their profiles. The business owner can ask all the customers for reviews, post reviews, and handle private issues.  The business owner must ensure that they do not post reviews from anyone connected with their company. The Site automatically reduces the subscription to an Information Only profile should the subscription be cancelled.  The company may also be archived.
