Visibility

Advanced Plan listings are displayed after Professional Plan listings and before Standard Plan listings.

Within the Advanced Listing Level, businesses are displayed on a first-activated, first-displayed basis.

The Advanced Plan provides your business with an enhanced opportunity to be found by consumers through categories, subcategories, cities, Provincial Trade Areas, business name, credentials, reviews, ratings, and other search options available on Safe and Trusted Canada.

Businesses with an Advanced Plan also have an enhanced opportunity to appear at the top of listings within their selected categories and Provincial Trade Area, based on the first-activated, first-displayed principle.

Provincial Trade Areas

The Advanced Plan includes 1 Provincial Trade Area.

Provincial Trade Areas have been developed to provide businesses with broader regional visibility and to simplify the search experience for both consumers and businesses.

Each Provincial Trade Area automatically includes numerous cities and towns within the selected region. Consumers continue to search by city or town, while businesses benefit from expanded visibility throughout the Provincial Trade Area.

This approach reduces unnecessary duplication, eliminates many sparsely populated trade areas, and creates greater visibility opportunities for participating businesses.

Renewal

Safe and Trusted Canada will send a renewal notice and invoice approximately 60 days before the listing plan renewal date.

If the business does not wish to renew, the business owner or an authorized representative must notify Safe and Trusted Canada before the renewal date. The listing plan will be cancelled at the end of the current subscription term.

If no notice is received before the renewal date, the listing plan will automatically renew for the next subscription term.
