The Professional Plan is designed for businesses seeking the highest level of advertising visibility, a complete profile presentation, broad category coverage and service coverage across multiple City or Town Trade Areas.

The Professional Plan has  Extended Visibility.

The Professional Plan is an advertising plan. Selecting the Professional Plan does not mean that a business is more trustworthy, credible or qualified than another business.

Price and Cancellation

The Professional Plan is $599.00 plus GST per year. The monthly payment option is $51.92 plus GST per month for 12 months. Plans cancel after 12 months if they are not renewed. The Professional Plan automatically reactivates each year unless cancelled.

A business owner may cancel the annual plan by providing written notice at least 60 days before the annual reactivation date. Annual payments already made are non-refundable. The Professional Listing and its paid features remain available until the end of the current annual term.

The business can cancel the monthly plan with 60 days' notice.  The business owner would be responsible for only 2 payments.  A business can request removal from our database at any time.

Categories and Trade Areas

The Professional Plan includes up to 5 Primary Categories, up to 60 Subcategories and up to 20 City or Town Trade Areas, as well as Extended Visibility Options for the Provincial Trade Area and the closest City Provincial Trade Area.  Extended Visibility costs apply only if the business uses more than the 2 areas allowed for the Professional Plan. Only one business profile is required. The profile may appear in all approved categories and trade areas the business selects. The business’s actual physical location remains clearly identified. Professional Plan availability may be limited by Primary Category, City, Town, Trade Area or Province. Extended Visibility Costs occur if the business uses any of the remaining 3 trade areas for its listing.  You can place those 3 trade areas anywhere in Canada for an additional $ 199.00 per year or $18.58 per month.  GST is added to all amounts. The Professional Listing is the only Plan that carries the Featured Listing Status.

Professional Presentation and Visibility

Professional Listings receive the highest level of profile presentation and advertising visibility available through Safe and Trusted Canada.

Professional Listings appear before Advanced, Standard, Plus, Basic, and Information-Only Listings.

When more than one Professional Listing appears in the same category and geographic area, we display businesses based on the date their Professional Listings were activated. If a business downgrades, it will appear in the plan they choose with a new activation date for that plan.

What Makes Us Different?

Listings do not rotate or change position based on proximity to the consumer.

Your position in the database is determined by your selected Listing Plan and the date your listing was activated.

Your profile gives consumers everything they need to know about your business in one click.

Consumer Search Options

Consumers can search within Trade Areas by Province, City or Town, and Business Category.

Consumers can also search directly by Business Name, the last four digits of the business telephone number, and identified Business or Contractor Credentials.

These search options help consumers locate a particular business or compare businesses using the location, services and information that matter to them.

Managed by the Business Owner

The business owner or an authorized representative receives access to a password-protected account.

The business may manage its business description, products and services, contact information, categories, Business Credentials, Contractor Credentials, reviews and ratings, promotions, job postings, eQuotes participation, and accreditation, registration or professional affiliation information.

The business may connect its listing to its website, social media accounts and review sites. Professional businesses may also provide direct links to relevant website pages and upload up to 20 approved images, 10 PDF documents and 10 YouTube video links.

Each Professional Listing includes a QR code that the business may provide to customers to help obtain reviews on the Safe and Trusted Canada platform.

Automatic assistance and built-in instructions help the business complete and manage its profile.

To protect the integrity, security, ease of use, and professional presentation of every listing, Safe and Trusted Canada manages certain profile elements in consultation with the business owner or authorized representative.

You may submit changes by email or another approved communication method.

Professional Affiliations 

Safe and Trusted Canada is an advertising and business information platform. It does not accredit, validate, approve, endorse or recommend any business.

Safe and Trusted Canada acknowledges independent organizations and professional bodies that establish standards and monitor the businesses or professionals under their authority.

A business may choose to display its accreditation, registration or professional affiliation on its listing as information for consumers.

Listing levels and Featured Business placement control advertising visibility, geographic visibility and profile presentation. They do not represent accreditation, endorsement, validation, approval, ranking or a recommendation by Safe and Trusted Canada.

Businesses operating in industries that are not governed by a required professional affiliation are expected to accurately state their applicable business and contractor credentials.

The business owner or an authorized representative provides and confirms all credential information as accurate and true. Safe and Trusted Canada does not accredit, validate, approve, endorse or recommend any business.

Please Note: The business will be displayed as a Featured Business In Its Applicable Categories and Approved Provincial Trade Areas. 

Safe and Trusted Canada will assist with the initial setup of the Professional Listing. Approved direct links, social media links, images, PDF documents, YouTube video links and the business logo may be added at the beginning of the plan and updated at each annual renewal. Additional changes may be subject to a service charge.

The business owner or an authorized representative is responsible for ensuring that all information displayed in the listing remains accurate and current.

The business profile gives consumers everything they need to know about the business in one click.

Business Account Management

The business owner or an authorized representative can manage approved profile information through the business account.

Safe and Trusted Canada may manage certain profile elements, in consultation with the business owner, to help protect the integrity, security, ease of use, and professional presentation of the website.

Business Communications

By creating and maintaining an account, the business acknowledges and consents to receiving communications related to its account, profile, participation and services, in accordance with applicable laws, including Canada’s Anti-Spam Legislation.
