Professional Subscription: $599 per year plus applicable taxes.

Monthly Payment Option: $51.92 per month plus applicable taxes.

BUSINESS PROFILE DEVELOPMENT FEE

A one-time Business Profile Development Fee of $99 plus applicable taxes applies to all Professional Subscriptions.

The Business Profile Development Fee helps ensure that your profile is properly developed and ready to attract consumers from Day 1.

Profile development is completed with direction from the business owner or authorized staff and may include business descriptions, products and services, trade areas, website links, social media links, images, videos, and other information intended to help consumers learn more about your business.

Business owners may choose to have Safe and Trusted Canada manage their profile on their behalf, or request a username and password to make updates at any time.

PAYMENT OPTIONS

Annual Payment Option

Businesses selecting the annual payment option pay for the entire year in advance.

The Subscription remains active for the paid term.

Businesses may provide notice of cancellation at any time. Notice of cancellation prevents future renewals.

No partial refunds are provided for unused portions of the annual term.

Monthly Payment Option

Businesses selecting the monthly payment option are billed monthly.

Businesses may cancel by providing 60 days' written notice.

Payments continue during the notice period, and billing stops when it expires.

Professional Subscriptions are displayed before Advanced, Standard, Plus, Basic, and Information Only Profiles.

Within each Subscription Level, businesses are displayed on a first-in, first-seen basis according to the date the Subscription becomes active.

BUSINESS DIFFERENTIATION

All paid subscriptions allow the business owner to explain what makes their business different and why consumers may wish to consider their products or services.

This information may include experience, service offerings, product selection, customer service commitments, areas of specialization, company history, community involvement, or other information the business believes is important to consumers.

DIRECT WEBSITE LINKS

Professional, Advanced, and Standard Subscriptions allow direct links from the business's Safe and Trusted Canada profile to pages within their website.

These links may direct consumers to specific products, services, contact pages, quote request forms, promotions, employment opportunities, or other areas of the business website that the business owner wishes to promote.

OPTIONAL CONTRACTOR INFORMATION

Contractors may choose to provide additional information through the Optional Contractor Information Form.

This information may include licences, certifications, insurance, affiliations, years in business, and other business details the contractor wishes to share with consumers.

Completion of the Optional Contractor Information Form is voluntary and is not required to obtain a listing.

Account Holders - To protect consumers, other businesses, and the integrity of the Site, Account Holders have higher standards and greater responsibilities as a business.

The reason for this is that the company is now placing content on our Site and has control over reviews, the placement of now-hiring links, links to affiliations, and the placement of their credentials in their business profile. The company sets an alert if they place credentials in their business profile that they do not possess, or if they post reviews on their profile from people who are directly or indirectly connected to the firm. Archiving cannot happen if the business has an alert. See Alerts.
