About Safe and Trusted Canada
Welcome to Safe and Trusted Canada. All further references to Safe and Trusted Canada shall be called "The Site." The Site will refer to the following website: https://safeandtrusted.com.
Safe and Trusted Canada is accredited by the Better Business Bureau.
We want to remind our valued consumers that while Safe and Trusted Canada strives to provide accurate information, it is not infallible, and consumers should always take steps to protect their interests. Similarly, we remind businesses that their presentations on our Site must be honest, truthful, and accurate. In addition, we are pleased to offer businesses the opportunity to list their affiliations, social media links, business and contractor credentials, and review site links at no charge. Information profiles include links to the business website, social media, and other review sites accessible to consumers. The Site includes contact data and other consumer information in a single profile. A business owner applies for account status through our application process. Archiving of the business occurs if the company is no longer in operation. We look for an email from the business owner or a permanently closed alert on Google; for faster results, use our Chat Widget.
Account holders can add unlimited content to their business profile depending on their subscription plan. Since the owner provides the content or authorizes our Admin to retrieve current content from the business website, there is no risk to the business owner. If the business no longer has access to the account, it moves to an information-only profile. The business is archived at any time we receive information that the business is closed, or at the request of the business owner.
There is no risk to the business owner at any time due to account status, unless they provide false information to consumers through their account management area. See Alerts.

PLEASE NOTE THAT WE PLACE THE FOLLOWING CONTENT INTO EVERY PROFILE
- Information Only Profiles are as advertised to the public on the internet.
- As a matter of policy, the Site does not recommend, accredit, suggest, promote, or validate any business. Consumers do that through reviews.
- The Site provides public links to review sites that permit us to publish those links.
- The Site provides public links to review sites for information only. Businesses with an account status have control over links to review sites.
- Subscription types give business owners different advertising options, but the Site does not suggest that credibility determines the subscription level.
- Users can use the advanced Credentials Search feature to assess a business's reliability.
- It is the user's responsibility to verify the credentials advertised by the business.
- Notify the Site Admin immediately if the business is advertising credentials that it does not have, or if the information is outdated.
- The company and the consumer determine transactions entirely between themselves.
- Safe and Trusted Canada does not mediate complaints, issues, or concerns.
- Seek legal advice for complex transactions.
- Protect your interests as a consumer. Business profiles can change at any time. Ownership, affiliations, and reviews may change quickly.
