The Plus Plan is designed for businesses seeking additional profile information, broader category coverage, and useful business participation features within one City or Town Trade Area.
The Plus Plan is an advertising plan. Selecting the Plus Plan does not mean that a business is more trustworthy, credible or qualified than another business.
PLUS PLAN PRICE
The annual price is $99.00 plus GST per year.
The monthly price is $10.25 plus GST per month.
There is no separate setup fee.
PLUS PLAN INCLUSIONS
The Plus Plan includes up to 2 Primary Categories, up to 20 Subcategories and 1 City or Town Trade Area.
One business profile is required. The profile may appear within all approved categories, subcategories and the City or Town Trade Area included with the plan.
PLUS LISTING VISIBILITY
Plus Listings are displayed after Professional, Advanced and Standard Listings and before Basic and Information Only Listings.
When multiple Plus Listings appear within the same category and Trade Area, their display order is determined by the date each Plus Listing was activated.
Plus Plan placement controls advertising visibility and profile presentation. It does not represent accreditation, endorsement, validation, approval, ranking or a recommendation by Safe and Trusted Canada.
BUSINESS LINKS
The Plus Plan allows the business to connect consumers to its main website, social media pages and review sites.
Direct links to multiple pages or sections of the business website are Premium Plan features.
PREMIUM PRESENTATION FEATURES
Managed image uploads, PDF documents, YouTube links and Request eQuotes are not included with the Plus Plan.
These features are available with applicable Premium Listing Plans.
The business may upgrade its Listing Plan at any time when additional presentation, geographic coverage or consumer contact features are required.
BUSINESS AND CONTRACTOR CREDENTIALS
The business may enter identified business and contractor credentials through its account.
Credentials entered by the business are searchable through the Safe and Trusted Canada search system.
Safe and Trusted Canada does not independently accredit, validate, approve or endorse credentials entered by a business.
MEASURED LISTING VIEWS
Every view of the Plus Listing is measured and made available to the business owner.
This information helps the business understand how often consumers are viewing its profile.
CUSTOMER REVIEWS
The Plus Plan includes access to the Safe and Trusted Canada review and ratings system.
The business receives a QR code that it can provide to customers to help them find the listing and submit a review.
Reviews must relate to an actual customer transaction or experience and are subject to the Safe and Trusted Canada review requirements.
JOBS AND PROMOTIONS
The business may use its account to publish applicable job opportunities and business promotions.
These features help the business provide additional information to consumers and potential employees.
MANAGED BY THE BUSINESS OWNER
The business owner or an authorized representative manages Primary Categories, Subcategories, the City or Town Trade Area, the business description, products and services, optional business credentials, optional contractor credentials, reviews and ratings, job postings, promotions, contact information, and the main website, social media and review site links through the password-protected business account.
MANAGED BY SAFE AND TRUSTED CANADA
Safe and Trusted Canada provides guidance and setup assistance when needed and manages the business logo and applicable presentation elements in consultation with the business owner or an authorized representative.
EXTENDED VISIBILITY
Extended Visibility is not automatically included with the Plus Plan.
Eligible businesses may purchase Extended Visibility separately for $199.00 plus GST per year.
Extended Visibility identifies the business as a Featured Business and provides additional geographic advertising visibility through up to three applicable Provincial Trade Areas in total.
Contractors may only select Provincial Trade Areas where they are legally permitted to provide their services.
Extended Visibility does not provide additional City or Town Trade Areas beyond the one included with the Plus Plan.
CANCELLATION OF A MONTHLY PLAN
A business owner may cancel a monthly Plus Plan by providing 30 days written notice.
Following notice of cancellation, the business owner is responsible for 2 additional monthly payments.
The Plus Listing and its paid features remain available during the applicable cancellation period.
CANCELLATION OF AN ANNUAL PLAN
The annual Plus Plan automatically reactivates each year unless cancelled.
A business owner may cancel the annual plan by providing written notice at least 60 days before the annual reactivation date.
When proper notice is provided, there are no additional payments after the end of the current annual term.
Annual payments already made are non-refundable. The Plus Listing and its paid features remain available until the end of the current annual term.
COMMUNICATIONS
By creating and maintaining an account, the business acknowledges and consents to receiving communications relating to its account, profile, participation and services in accordance with applicable laws, including Canadas Anti-Spam Legislation.

Safe and Trusted Canada is an advertising and consumer information platform.
Safe and Trusted Canada does not accredit, validate, approve, endorse, rank or recommend any business.
Information displayed within a Plus Listing is provided by the business owner, an authorized representative or other identified sources.
Consumers are encouraged to review the information provided and make their own informed decisions.
